Guest mjread Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 Just wondering if anyone here is currently using the Parrot CK3000 carkit and has applied the latest E200 upgrade. My E200 is behaving itself to the extent that I can live with it at the moment and do not want to tempt fate by upgrading only to fine that the world implodes in on itself. The only reason I have to upgrade at the moment, apart from alleged extended battery life, is that occasionally my E200 and CK3000 will stop talking to each other - Parrot say its because the BT implementation is non-standard on the E200 (no shock there, it is running a Microsoft OS afterall!) Wondering if anyone else who currently experiences the same problem knows whether the upgrade makes things better or worse with the CK3000.
Guest rikwebb Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 Hi, I have updated to the new rom version. It does seem to work better with the CK3000. Before the update, it would randomly lose the BT connection, and through the odd wobbly when a call came in. BUT, fingers crossed, all seems to be better with the new rom. Since the update, it has not lost connection or wobbled once (fingers crossed)....... There is no new functionality that I found. Try the latest firmware for the CK3000, its 3.13 I think. Look here http://www.mobiland.co.uk/parrot_faq.asp#A They have an update cable for about £16 Rik
