Guest ALiEN_Br33D Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 After a couple of guys recommended me this BT headset i decided to buy it (not your fault :) ) Hooked it up to my phone! All worked well but after a few days i activated BT on my phone and switched my M3000 on. When i call someone they dont hear me but i can hear them??? i have to switch my M3000 off and on again inorder for it to work. This happenes almost everytime i switch the device on, you guys may think "why dont u switch it on and off twice, so it saves u from having to do it again". Reason is, if i do that it doesnt work until i make a call and then switch it off and on. I thought i had a dodgy M3000 so i took it back and got another one. SAME thing happening! Any ideas?

Guest ALiEN_Br33D Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 Ok guys it has gone to the point where im ready to throw this piece of crap outta the window. Ive updated the phone and it still doesnt work properly! I was on the phone in traffic the other day (using no bluetooth), and a copper saw me, got pulled up and he was gonna give me a fine! I just said i had the phone in my hand to switch it on, i showed him my bluetooth head pieced and said "why would I wanna talk on the phone without using a headset, when i know its illegal, and when ive got a £45 bluetooth headset right here". Almost got a fine! I ve been not using my head piece because ive always got to switch it on and then off and on again in order for it to work, which is dangerours whilst driving. I need advise from M3000 users, do you have to do the same with your E200? Is it the phone (which wouldnt suprised me) or is it the headset? Im almost tempted to give this back and trade it in for another brand to see if that works.
Guest Jazz_UK Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 I just said i had the phone in my hand to switch it on, i showed him my bluetooth head pieced and said "why would I wanna talk It is illegal to operate the phone unless it is secured in a cradle while driving. Switching it on counts as operating it - you were lucky you were not fined!! Jazz
