How is 2003 os different?

Hi guys

for those ppl who know about it, how is the 2003 OS different than the 2002? please explain in boring detail

I asked this a while ago cus everyone's always going on about how great it is to have WM2003, but when I used it I couldn't see much difference. I didn't get any replies when I asked, so I wonder if it really is any better, or if it's just people getting excited by the newer version number. The only things I could come up with myself are:

- Bluetooth support;

- .NET CF support;

- Multiple e-mail account support.

Oh, and of course it says 'Start' instead of 'Programs' on the homescreen! As far as I can tell, there isn't much difference at all, I get the impression that MS's biggest reason for the upgrade was to add .NET CF support since they're really pushing for this at the moment - it's very important to them, but makes no difference whatsoever to the average Smartphone user. I can think of a lot of better things that could have been improved.

Just like to point out that this list makes a lot more sense if you look at it in its original context!

A few extra points here but these mostly seem fairly insignificant to me. Also, not sure what he's going on about WRT .NET CF: "...this is nothing but revolution; many new fantastic programs can be executed thanks to it; it is built-in into operating system"; I don't get that cus the programs still have to be written for Smartphone in the first place! That's Jacek for you I guess...

Probably the most important thing to be gleaned from that list (and it is not mine I just searched for it for those who cannot/will not search) is that most new and intersting software will be written for smartphone 2003 leaving those of us with 2002 behind unless we get upgraded.

The biggest "new" feature in SP2003 for me will be the ability to receive wireless ActiveSync update notifications from my corporate Exchange 2003 Server. That will keep my e-mail, calendar and contacts updated in real-time instead of me having to schedule updates throughout the day. It'll almost be like having a Blackberry without the thumb-board!
