Guest stebbo Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 hey people. After searching the site, and trying everything I see, I cannot get pop3 email working at all. With tiscali it keeps wanting me to re-enter a password, or tells me that it had trouble connecting to server, and with orange.net it wont aknowledge at all at this moment in time, it wants me to enter a password, which just isnt working. internet settings are to gprs, and I have entered all the smpt pop etc details correctly. please help!

Guest nickcornaglia Posted March 26, 2004 Report Posted March 26, 2004 I had the same problem on my e200 when I had outgoing mail. It worked if I was only importing mail...but if I had a message in the Outbox...I got the same errors as you. After the e200 update....everything works great!!!
Guest nickcornaglia Posted March 26, 2004 Report Posted March 26, 2004 I should mention that it was not with your IPS but with Comcast.net in the US. But like you I could send and receive mail on my PC using the same settings and the problem was resolved after the update, so it had to be some incompatibility with the previous ROM.
