Guest Dunx Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 Has anyone else noticed that when the E200 has fully charged, it disconnects from ActiveSync when in the cradle. You then have to disconnect it and re-connect it to get it to sync again (I'm assuming that it isn't just me with the problem). It worked OK before the last E200 update but now doesn't. Anyone know how I can stop this from happening?
Guest Pulse Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 I have the problem of it always disconnecting from ActiveSync aswell. It's crap. It isnt when it's fully charged either. Pathetic.
Guest ferret Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 Another voice to random AS disconnections post update :)
Guest skyrine Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 AS randomly disconnect for me as well.. a real bugger when you are trying to pop a LARGE file to your SD card
Guest superkingdave Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 not random disconnections frmo me, but random nonconnections, sometimes it just refuses to connect even though the LED is on showing me it is charging from my computer but its not seen by active sync
Guest shadamehr Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 I can go one better folks... As my laptop is a bit tempremental, sometimes, power to and from the USB port can result in a Blue Screen of Death automatic re-boot. I know this is an issue of the laptop itself, let me make it clear that I am not blaming anything else. Recently, my laptop has been re-booting loads, when usually it runs and runs. Lo and behold - guess what the cause is? Yup, ActiveSync and the random disconnection bug you are all mentioning. But in my case of course, because it must involve a power signal surge/flow through the USB port, it triggers the USB BSOD I mentioned. So now I have managed to track down all my random re-boots. The underlying fault is my laptop re-booting on USB issues. But the intermittant cause now triggering this own error, is ActiveSync disconnecting.
