Lost T9 Text after upgrading QTek to v1.50

Hi all.

I've just upgraded my QTek 7070 to the latest ROM available using the instructions in the forum. Problem is, I have got a foreign language coming up for my predictive text instead of english.

I have used the small app from here and even though all of the settings are set to englis.dll, I'm still getting dutch or german or something.

After doing a search and coming up with nothing, I thought I'd ask the question - has anyone come across this, how did they fix it?

Where did you get it from?

I'm using that and it is english T9 with swedish words.

Hi Daniel, thanks for the reply.

I can't type in Happy Birthday for example - I get some other language (probably Swedish, as you say) - yes, I got the upgrade from the qtek.se site. It makes the phone run heaps faster... in fact, the only problem I have with the upgrade is the fact that my predictive text is not english any more (Still english menus, etc...).

Bit of a pain - something I'll learn to live with, but it'd still be nice to have the T9 text in english.

Anyone? Any ideas at all?

Maybe an english t9 can be copied from an Orange UK phone? if it's possible... Try to write to BrightPoint, hosting www.qtek.se, and tell them your situation, maybe they can help you.
