Can Xphone support wifi?

I want to get a Xphone but i m curious tat can xphone support wifi card by SDIO slot. I heard there are products such as SD wifi card but i oso heard some rumors tat those cards still dun have driver to support Xphone operating system. Is it true?

Yes you are correct. SanDisk are supposed to have somthing out soon

April 21st I believe. I have a bad feeling that the E200/XPhone will fail to work with it though. Call it an educated guess.

I've emailed SanDisk about their WiFi card to be used within the Xphone, and they said to try to use the drivers for the PDA Windows mobile 2003, because they'r similar. They're not going to make any specific drivers for the Xphone, they've said.

hmm...

so de xphone tat support wifi card is juz a waste i guess

is useless to hv a SDIO wifi slot but dun hv a driver to support it

Actually it's not an SDIO WiFi slot, it's an SDIO slot, there are other devices that need SDIO, some GPS systems for example. Besides having a WiFi network card is only one part of the equation, without software that understands how to use a redirector, on it's own it would be useless anyway, unless all you want to do is use a web browser.. :roll:
