media player dead,wont load

when i click on media player nowt happens,have e200.

any ideas on what problem might be?

or you could go onto Registry Editor (if you have it, if not DOWNLOAD IT :) ) and go onto

H_KEY LOCAL MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindows Media Player 8Parameters

Change Skindir = location of media player skin and SkinFile to wmplayer.skn

Tried all the above and the links, still my media player is dead, other than a hard reset or redo the upgrade for e200, is there anything else i can do?

The only thing i can think of is installing a new media skin, try this:

download this file: http://www.airfagev.com/skins/Xtreme%20WMPS.zip (its a good skin :) )

then install this skin onto your storage card using the cab file or exe.

then go onto Registry editor:

H_KEY LOCAL MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindows Media Player 8Parameters

Change Skindir to "Storage CardMedia SkinsXtreme" (WITHOUT SPEECH MARKS and make sure you have them back slashes 8) ) and SkinFile to wmplayer.skn

If this doesnt work then im stumped! plz post back either way?

Thanks every1 for your help, couldnt do a hard reset so loaded the update agian, everything fine now, god knows what went wrong i tried everything, one of those many E200 and smartphone mysteries i suppose.
