Orange Update Killed my E200

Ran the RUU_v2.4_OrangeUK_v2.6.1.3.exe file.

Phone started updating. 99 % - not long now.

Waited another 5 minutes.

Phone then displayed an error - update failed.

Phone then rebooted itself and now sits at a black screen. The red on light does NOT appear. The phone appears to be dead.

However - when attached to the cradle, my pc can detect it as a USB device, but fails to identify it. I cannot activesync, and the RUU_v2.4_OrangeUK_v2.6.1.3.exe cannot connect to the phone.

I've tried taking the battery out - is there anything else I can do - I do not have Orange care.

Switch the phone into bootloader mode (keep the camera button down when you switching on) and try different combinations of USB ports, best using a proper port not a hub.

It wont go into bootloader mode. I cant even tell if it is switching on :oops:

I've tried three pcs and a laptop - all do the same as far as connecting with usb, active sync and re running the orange "update".
