home screen problems

Maby this might sound silly, but having smartphone for over a year and stil dont know how to convert any .jpg file to make it as a homescreen file. Tried many times but only a small part of file is being displayed. Any ideas??

You just need to resize it to 176x200.

Something like irfanview (freeware - do a Google search) will do it :)
