Slow responses during SMS / typing in Net Addresses

When I am in sending SMS mode, the phone seems incredibly slow and locks up for 5 seconds at a time (obviously not recording your keypresses in that time as well). Anyone elses or just me?

Plus - very slow when typing in Web addresses (tho with the pricing I don't think I'll be doing too much of that after march!) but I'm assuming that's the look up for autocomplete. Can you turn autocomplete / look up off?

When in IE on the phone, select options from the menu - then Memory and you can clear the history from there.

Yeah....i've got this problem too, but only with this unit. I've changed 3 units, and 2 had not this problem... I think it's some thread that locks up the system... I hope it will get fixed coz it's very annoying
