Guest Arecibo Posted March 27, 2004 Report Posted March 27, 2004 Hi I'm sure I'm not the first to ask, but can find surprisingly little information about this anywhere online... I would dearly like to back up my sms messages from my SPVE100 (smartphone 2002 OS), both incoming and outgoing if possible. I have found most outgoing notes appear to be in a random order in the MAPI directory, but these all have irregular charagters between each digit, and have no date or time stamp... Any help would be appreciated... Arecibo
Guest JoelRae Posted March 28, 2004 Report Posted March 28, 2004 Try "SMS2mail" from monolithix.org - converts all inbox sms to emails and puts them in the outbox... sync your email to your pc, then drag them out of the outbox into a new folder to see the times/dates etc. There's also a registry tweak that you can use to backup the sms file... see instructions here hope that helps  Joel
