Is it possible to change the size of the icons on the homepage of an spv smartphone?

Em ... yes! If you mean the MRU icons, then you can specify what size you want them in the xml. If you mean icons for shortcuts (like the Orange plugins) then you can do that by using your own icon resource & creating your own custom icons of whatever size you like.
