Guest lutzh Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 ...i have him in my messenger and will ask him next time he is online. i would like to have the imeter too since it is much more useful that the ia gprs traffic counter.... cheers, lutz
Guest Disco Stu Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 The reply frpm Twyx :) "Hey! You have guessed that i'm french and, as such, i'm not used to read the modaco forum oftently... but i'm glad to hear that you're all waiting for it:-) Anyway, iMeter is beeing rebuilt from crash in order to improve the current architecture so that there will be a light daemon process monitoring the connections and storing information for the viewer app and for the homescreen plugin. Configuration is beeing translated into XML also to be more flexible. New functionalities like alerts are beeing added too... Well, you see, there is a lot of job! All of that take a lot of time since i'm doing that during my spare time, and to change a little from iMeter, i've done SmartInsert and ContactInsert also... The daemon process, is closed to be ready but i'm having problems with the MAX_PROCESS limitation on my E200, so i'm thninking of changing it into a Windows service... Stay tuned and don't give up, i promise it will come!" -Twyx-
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 Sounds excellent .... very promising indeed!
Guest londonlad Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 sounds wicked! hope it comes soon, my last bill was £50 of gprs  . i only meant to use the free gprs off orange world :D  alerts sounds cool! set it to 4MB and im sorted. good luck tywx,
Guest Magnetic_dud Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 good luck tywx, <{POST_SNAPBACK}> One year is passed by... there will be a 2003 version of imeter? It's too useful, I have to install it
Guest Dr_StrangeTrick Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 Check out this thread You can use IMeter 1.0a on the E200 but there are a few bugs on this version, all the other versions fail to run.
Guest Magnetic_dud Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 It works! Thanks  But I have some questions: I have to run it at every phone start? It seems not to see any call done. Yesterday I've done a call to an unknown contact, and it is visible. So, it see only calls to unknown people? Every time I start it, it says: The send messaged doesn't exist in database. As long as you didn't send amessage the file will not be created by pocket outlook and imeter will not be able to count the number of sms sent. But I've sent several sms and some emails.... :?:
Guest Dr_StrangeTrick Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 I had to manualy create a shortcut in the \Storage\Windows\Startup to make it autorun and I also had the message about not being able count messages as well but I had to turn that off as nothing I tried worked ;) I suppose its some of bugs we have to put up with.
Guest Alien18 Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 Hi, Staying loosely on topic, does can anyone recommend a meter for the C500. Ive been looking on and off for a while now and really want one that can monitor calls, sms, gprs, etc with alerts. Do any programs exist that can do all that on the C500 at the moment? Thank you.
