ActiveSync only recognizes my phone as GUEST!

What happened? I installed the new ActiveSync build and now my phone is only recognized as guest. If I delete all partnerships and re-partner the phone...it works the first time. After that...it is seen as guest on all subsequent syncs.

And yes, before you ask...I did delete and reinstall ActiveSync...first the new version....that didnt work. Next the old version. That didnt work either.

I dont want to reset my phone just to find that it's not that...but if no one can help. I may be forced to.

Thought I'd give a hard reset on the phone a shot and guess what??

I think a file is corrupt on my PC and right now, I am not about to re-ghost my computer as I have no time this week to reload everything I need to function correctly. DAMN!
