Guest peekie Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 Over at Handango there are a couple of new applications for the smartphone , Thanks to Awarner for his sharp eye in spotting them. The first is a First Aid medical application Medical emergencies don''t occur every day. But when they do, you should have the information you need to deal with these situations. They do state the following This program is not intended to replace the health advice and should be used for informational purposes only. This programme costs $9.99 and can be downloaded from <> The second application is probably jumping on peoples fears of the current state of the world If and when there is another terrorist attack, you need to know immediately what to do, no matter where you are or what you are doing. Your chances of minimizing the danger and inconvenience are enhanced if you've made common-sense preparations in advance. If you are able to care for your family, "first responders" can concentrate on the needs of those who are most affected The cost of this application is $9.95 and can be downloaded from <>

Guest Crispy Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 First one might be useful in some very very very rare situations, but a teorism survival planner??? ... I must say, if i REALLY tried, I probably would'n be able to find a more odd and useless thing to write a program about!!! ... OMG :)
