Guest Pagemakers Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 A great program, but... When I explore my SD card I see all the MP3 files including their names. However, when the program is playing the files the main screen no longer shows the track/artist name. Instead it displays Unknown, Unknown, Unknown What is wrong?
Guest nickcornaglia Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 It's probably showing imbedded track information and not the filenames. Are you sure you have track info on your files? Can you see WMA files?
Guest Pagemakers Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 It does not show WMA files. They are the same MP3's I use in my iPod and the names are displayed correctly there.
Guest Simon Desser Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 Same here Pagey :? Have you noticed the volume control is backwards :?: Pushing up reduces volume, and down turns it up :?
Guest Pagemakers Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 Yes I think the vol control is upside down too. Hope they fix the "unknown" issue. Great program.
Guest FuNKySoULyBrO Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 Doesn't work on my mio 8380.... :)
Guest Taoski Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 Just think - if they added WMA and OGG support - they could corner the market totally! For now i shall stick to PocketMusic - and its stuttering glitchy wonderfulness..
Guest Pagemakers Posted March 30, 2004 Report Posted March 30, 2004 Simon, I think they are looking at a fix. I sent them a few files today.
Guest phonesmarts Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 great program...something to look at other then PocketMusic...now if they made a free one....
Guest mcwarre Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 $19.99 is a bit excessive don't you think?
Guest Pagemakers Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 Has anyone got this program to show the artist and song title in the play window? (not the file browser window).
Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 Gotta agree with you mcwarre, surely the price tag is a bit excessive ?!?! Good application - best out for now. Wasnt ever keen on pocket Mousic - or they're customer service - shocking.
Guest phonesmarts Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 yeah, looking at pocketmusic make you want WMP even more...
Guest FuNKySoULyBrO Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 yeah, looking at pocketmusic make you want WMP even more... Wats wrong with pocketmusic? Other than occasional cracks n pops in certain songs when enable equalizer, else, with equaliser off, everything is working great with no skips/crackling/pops. Moreover, their playlist is way better than WMP....
Guest Pagemakers Posted April 3, 2004 Report Posted April 3, 2004 Just bought the program but a bug in the registration window prevents you from entering your name. Consequently the reg code and your name do not match and the product remains un-activated and simply closes
Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted April 3, 2004 Report Posted April 3, 2004 What are their cusomer services saying Pagey ? Lets hope they are better than Pocket Musics
Guest Pagemakers Posted April 3, 2004 Report Posted April 3, 2004 Waiting for them to reply. Maybe I won't hear until Monday now :)
Guest Pagemakers Posted April 3, 2004 Report Posted April 3, 2004 VisualIt just replied. I was trying to enter my owner name into the app but couldn't. What you need to do is enter the owner name into the phone's Start/Settings/Owner Information page. From there Simple Tunes will read the info and you just enter the reg code. Basically, when you buy the program you need to make sure that the name you purchase with equals the owner's info on the phone. errr, simple really
Guest waroffice Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Posted from my SmartPhone! i hate pocket music cos you cant stop the music when you answer a call and it jumps around also both wmp and pocket music have crap shuffle modes they repeat the same tunes just not in the order in the list. a player viet you could control from the headphones would be xlnt like some walkmans
