BEFORE UPDATING READ THIS... Phone now useless for MP3 play

Now that I have installed the upgrade, I am also experiencing the problem of activesync randomly disconnecting. (see thread "E200 disconnects from ActiveSync when it has fully charged")

This means I can longer copy WMA/MP3 files across using Windows Media Player. It will copy a few tunes and then disconnect and screw up.

Does anyone have ANY idea how to fix this?

Pick up an SD card reader (they write as well, despite thename). Cost about a fiver. Avoids rather than fixes your problem, but is MUCH faster at transferring files, especially if you have USB 2.0 and get a USB 2.0 reader.
