Upgrade from E100 to E200 worth it...or rather repair?

Just got off the Phone with Orange. I have a E100 (Since August 2003) and the phone shuts itself down since a few days....Newest Software 1.61.

Now the Girl told me I have only 6months Orange and 12 Month manufator guarantee. I can ring HTC Repair and see what they offer me but I also asked for a Upgrade to E200 wich would cost me £75.

Is it worth it? How long does a repair take with HTC or do they change the phone ?

i broke my e200 trying to upgrade the rom software and phoned htc last monday now 9 days and still had no reply?????? good job the guys at modaco helped me sort out the fault , good luck . funny that orange said 6 months warranty on the handset mine is only 2 months old and guess what only just out of warranty.
