Guest Cybox Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 I've got another variation of this SD card problem ive seen in a few other threads, that ive developed since the Orange UK E200 update. Before the update, I could write to my Orange Provided SD card (8MB) with no problems, add/remove. etc... Since installing the update, i've only been able to write just under 1MB to the card (from ActiveSync explore) when I try and write more it says insufficiant space. If I use SmartExplorer on the phone itself, I can see its got over 6MB FREE space and I can transfer stuff to and from the card. So the problem seems to be at the PC end which is pretty much needed in the first place :) Any ideas on this one?
Guest A.Hughes Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 Save the data on the SD card to your desktop using activesync. Then format the SD card again, do this using task amanger on the phone, or by using an SD card reader. Once done, transfer all the data back onto the SD card, you should now be able to use activesync to place data on the card. If your still having probs, buy a card reader/writer (they're very cheap at the moment and connect via USB) and transfer your data direct from desktop to the SD card with the card reader connected to your PC. Hope this helps
