Unicode, not fully implemented

Hi everybody,

I was wondering why unicode on smartphone, couldn't display chinese or oriental characters. Did they give a truncated unicode (therefore : what use, if it can't display everything). Moreover, event very simple telephone can display in Asia at least 5 different Asiatic character sets with their own IME. It mustn't take a lot of mem space to implement any idiom on SPV and smartphone like telephones (30 megs on the SPV e200+ SD card...).

I know that on other forums, they say chinese can't be displayed on European smartphone. Would anybody try to implement it? Know a hint to get it? I read on Asian forums that the reverse would be also fine (e.g; : get French, Spanish or whatever dictionary and profile on their Asian smartphone 2003).
