[B]smartphone turns on but does not load up, can anyone help

i have jus got a new smartphone called o2 Xphone (basically the same as an spv) when i swith it on it comes up with the loading screen but does not go any further. i think it may be some applications i have installed but i cant even get into the phone to remove them can anyone please help???

Have you tried a hard reset ?

hi there! jitshri, try a hard reset. there r plenty of threads on modaco related to it :-)

if not hard reset, search around for methods to reflash it. I've left bags of messages about this - in the end tho, if you're able to, just get it replaced under warranty. new phone for old - tell them that you had problems flashing it. I mis-flashed mine and wouldn't boot up.

if a hard reset doesnt work simply rerun the update from the bootloader screen (get into the bootloader the same way you hard reset but dont press the action button when prompted to.

then put the phone in the cradle and run the update file from the pc.
