Guest specialbrew Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 Does anyone have any suggestions for alternate headphones to those supplied with the e200? I don't really want to use an adaptor, and maintaining handsfree would be nice, but I really can't contend with something that looks (and sounds) like a bit of junk from the poundshop.
Guest Palindrome Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 I've found that using these kind of headphones provide really good quality. They've got Xtra Bass built in which compensates for the phones limited frequency range. As always, the more they cost, the better quality you're gonna get. The only problem is that you need an adapter with them. You can get a slim adapter with a curved 2.5mm plug (rather than one of those bulky ones that stick out at 90 degrees). Do a search in the forum and you should find some posts with links to them. As for keeping hands free, I don't personally know but again a search is your best bet there.
Guest Toyota-F1.com Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 Mine work fantastic! I think they look great and the sound they produce is fantastic too. I don't usually wear headphones, not a music-listener, but because it's so easy to listen to music for me with my SPV3, I use them more - but this type of headphones hurt a bit (ones that go in your ears)!
Guest Professor Frink Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 I hate the standard headphones. But all is not lost. Expansys do a range of adaptors that fit the SPV and allow you to use any headphones with a 3.5mm stereo jack (most). Check out this example: http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=105812
