Unlocking Xphone without using OTA? pls help thanks

hi people out there. anyone out there knows how to unlock xphone? i tried to install some program such as cleartype but it says i have no permission to install. I've search search some of the threads on how to unlock. most of them were using OTA. problem is i'm from singapore and i dont have an orange network. any people out there knows how to unlock it?
