Guest biffsmash Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 Hi, Due to the fact that I am crap with anything programming wise, I have a small request I hope someone can help with. Would anyone be kind enough to make or point me in the direction of a simple homescreen, which is identicle to the E200 Latest Update Version MS 2003 of "Windows Simple" Homescreen layout. With one small alteration, I need the date over on the left, under the time, in a slightly smaller font. example: ------------------------------------------------------- Orange 11:18 02/04/2004 Biffy (name at bottom of screen) as normal. ------------------------------------------------------- If theres one available which someone could point me in direction of thats great too. Basically its because any pic of a nice girl i put on the backdrop ends up with the poor girls head being cut off by the date hehe :) Thanks all. Biffy
Guest Disco Stu Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 Well I'm no xml-editor neither, but having had the same problem as your goodself, what I did was flip the picture horizontally using the wonderful Irfanview :) http://www.irfanview.com/
Guest biffsmash Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 Thanks for the reply! :) I see where your heading with this one and I appreciate the idea, but with the homescreen as it is, wether the head is on the left or the right its covered by the time and orange on the left, or the date on the right lol. for example, my current layout is like this :/ Orange 12:41 02/04/2004 Biffy If the head is in the middle it's covered by both  Although with no pic editing skills either i cant get the poor girl's heads in the middle of the text either lolol /cry hehe
Guest Disco Stu Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 Biffy ! Another alternative is to use one of the basic ones in this thread : http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php...6694&highlight= There are various versions, depending on how much you want on the screen and whether the picture is dark or light. Should have thought of this first :?
