SPV E200 Possible Fix for Update Error

Hi all,

I've read a few posts here regarding errors during the update and that you the phone is basically wrecked after it.

I too had the same problem installing the swiss update (living in switzerland). However I did discover that by leaving the spv in boot modus mode, Uninstalling and reinstalling activesync, you could install the update.

Note that activesync will not connect (because it's in bootmodus) and you will not be able to create a partnership, which is great really cos' that's how I got the update to install itself.

Just got this all resolved today as the update came out here yesterday. Have noticed that the sound quality isn't as improved as posted, still looking for the improvements.
