Disconnect from GPRS

I know this may be a silly question but does anyone know how to hang up on GPRS on the new e200

I have tried numberous buttons and the only one that works is turning the phone off and back on

Instructions say that you hold the hang up key but this does not work

It's worth noting that unless you're trying to stop a download or soemthing, there is little point in disconnecting from GPRS- it doesn't cost anything unless you're actively downloading something, and doesn't use the battery any more than having the phone switched on and in signal.
