Guest Efstathios Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 Hi everybody! I ve a problem. I am trying to disable my new SPV classic. I know how to do that because I did it before with another SPV, the strange thing is that it is not working with my new one.... :) This is realy irritating me because I want to install a lot of software. The problem is that if I fill the developers form in with name, email, phonenumber and EMEI number and I click on OK I just get a white screen on my PC. no message on my phone nothing, just a white screen on my PC... What can it be... I thougth maybe because I didnt conect my Spv on internet (i ve to pay than a fee (orange Netherlands) and I dont want it) Could somebody help me please? Thanks!
Guest moo_ski_doo Posted April 3, 2004 Report Posted April 3, 2004 Assuming you're using this method: http://developer.orangews.com/orgspv/comdefq.aspx , you have to be able to make data calls (connect to the internet,) because it disables the security certificate by making a data call. If you can't connect to the internet it won't work.

Guest moo_ski_doo Posted April 3, 2004 Report Posted April 3, 2004 I think so; I seem to remember there used to be a program available to do it. I've only ever used the OTA method myself tho so someone else will have to confirm this.
