Guest devinh Posted April 3, 2004 Report Posted April 3, 2004 A week ago I bought the MPx200 and the next day it lost it's charge and would not charge up again and not get past the boot screen. Not even show that it's pluged in. I returned it to the store and got a replacement. 5 days later the same thing happened to the replacement phone. By now I have lost my box and reciept, so I was told to contact AT&T warranty replacement by phone. They tell me that I can get a replacement for $24.95 and that would have been ok by me, but they also told me that the symptoms are related to a software problem that can be fixed by Motorola (National Service Center) by sending it to them in Fort Worth TX. The one AT&T would have sent me would have still been 2002. She said that Motorola would upgrade it to 2003 as well as check the phone for additional problems. Sent off today, hope to have it back in a week. I'll let you know what happens.
