High street accesories?

does anyone know of any good high street shops for accesories for the smartphone (preferably london or midlands area)?

i went into an orange shop after something for my e100, they looked at me blank. seems they don't do the things i've seen on the web, like battery extenders, spare batteries, new headsets, even cases! pretty basic stuff really.

was given the hotline number, which is just great for those who don't [want to] own a credit card.

i'm after a new stereo headset with the micro plug (the plug has failed).

I've looked around London, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Bedford with a singular lack of success. I think that 'specific' SPV accessories are the preserve of on-line stores such as www.ora.co.uk. Maplin is pretty good when it comes to getting headphones and 2.5mm-3.5mm Jack adaptors and they work fine with the SPV - but they are not Smartphone specific.

I don't know of any High street accessory shops, but if you're looking for the original stereo headphones they sell them in most O2 shops; they're the same ones that come with the O2 XDA.

cheers folks

instead of going thru' town again, i was in 'my local out of town precinct'.

viola, they have motorola headsets (stereo, mpx200), with micro plug.

one would assume the 'push to talk' button is driven from the handset & would work as a mute on my phone, as it's just a button on a cable! who cares, as long as i've got sounds.
