Guest monaghaan Posted April 3, 2004 Report Posted April 3, 2004 ](*,) bigginers question no.2 how do i transfer(sync) voice notes to computer?
Guest ferret Posted April 3, 2004 Report Posted April 3, 2004 Explore using activesync to IPSM/My Documents/Notes there should be some wavs there called Recording1, Recording2 etc. Cut and paste them to a suitable folder. Beginner question no 3? :)
Guest monaghaan Posted April 3, 2004 Report Posted April 3, 2004 i've just had a look and the folder is empty i have a "recording 1" in the notes file on the phone???
Guest ferret Posted April 3, 2004 Report Posted April 3, 2004 i have a "recording 1" in the notes file on the phone??? Is that a question or a statement? They are stored on the phone. That should be your voicenote.
Guest monaghaan Posted April 4, 2004 Report Posted April 4, 2004 i have a "recording 1" in the notes file on the phone??? this was a statement referring to the notes file on the phone only, i can't find the same file via the pc when syncronised
Guest ferret Posted April 4, 2004 Report Posted April 4, 2004 Assuming you can see the files on a file explorer on your phone, you should also see the same files when you press explorer within activesync. Try making sure you've got show hidden files ticked in your folder options (on the PC). Then just cut and paste them to your C: drive or something. Good luck! If you're running XP, you can also go to My Computer, and under "other devices" there should be a mobile device.
Guest martin Posted April 4, 2004 Report Posted April 4, 2004 Open Smart Explorer and goto recording file, select Menu-Properties and untick Hidden. Just another way of doing it :) Posted from my SmartPhone!
