mobile web

Been told by o2 that i cannot use the mobile web on o2 PAYG sim ....... is there any other PAYG networks which i can use the internet.......thanks :)

Yep, it seems that O2 have limited their APN payandgo to WML pages which ain't much fun for an SPV.

The good news is that all Orange, T-mobile and Vodafone prepaid accounts will give you internet access.

I'm not 100% sure of the costs but it something like this.

Customer services should be able to confirm the prices,

Vodafone (bit expensive)

GPRS @ 0.73p per Kbyte

MMS @ 36p per message (30K message limit)

T-mobile

(both GPRS and MMS are available to prepaid but not sure of the price - worth checking out)

GPRS

MMS

Orange

GPRS @ £4 per Megabyte (approx 0.4p per Kbyte)

MMS @ 30p (up to 50K message) and 50p (between 50K and 100K message)

IMO, I would say it's between Orange and T-mobile depending on the cost of T-mobile.
