Guest dobby_gobby_man Posted April 4, 2004 Report Posted April 4, 2004 ey guyz akala ko tapos na yung 24 na series sa ABS-CBN. bitin kasi kagabi.... eto ang info: Day 3: Season three starts three years after the events of the second season. A Mexican drug lord sits in jail, put there by Jack. His brother arranges to blackmail the US Government with the threat he will release a bio-weapon that will kill millions if they don't release him. Palmer seeks re-election to a second term, with a dodgy chief of staff, and a girlfriend who may not be telling him everything he needs to know. Will Jack survive this day? Or will it be his last... March 30, 2004 Our long hiatus is finally over! Fox will begin airing the final nine episodes of 24: Day 3, beginning this evening. Robert Bianco of USA Today claims that the show's weak slump as at an end. He says we're in for the usual twists, turns and high drama that have made 24 such a hit. He also promises a "shattering surprise," that will be one of the best of the series. Also, another review of the next three episodes from The Chicago Sun-Times. March 19, 2004 Plans are being made to develop a comic book version of 24. IDW Publishing has announced that it will release a comic book one-shot based on the popular Fox TV programme 24. For scientists living in the artic: 24 features Counter Terrorism Unit agent Jack Bauer (played by Kiefer Sutherland) keeping the world safe from Dennis Hopper's Russian accent and other nasties. What's interesting about the show is that each episode equals one hour in the life of Agent Bauer, with each season presenting a complete day. The comic book version of the show will be titled 24: One Shot. The story will be provided by J.C. Vaughn and Mark L. Haynes (Battlestar Galactica) with by CSI: Miami artist, Renato Guedes. In it, Jack Bauer has to protect a beautiful and deadly terrorist for twenty-four hours, but after an attack by her former friends, he has only one bullet left in his gun. In translating the time element over to the comic book page two pages of printed story will equal one hour of elapsed time. “We at IDW are big fans of the series 24,” Editor-in-Chief Jeff Mariotte said. “We had some difficulty at first trying to figure out how the ticking clock element, so crucial to the show, would work on the printed page. But J.C. Vaughn and Mark Haynes had some ideas, and they convinced us that it could work. We teamed them up with Renato Guedes, who does some of the best actor likenesses ever, and we think the book will be every bit as entertaining as the TV series.” 24: One Shot will be a 48-page, full color, squarebound graphic novella, on sale in July, with a retail price of $6.99. Promotion will include an excerpt in a Free Comic Book Day release, and major national publicity. ang mahal nung comic book pero kung meron bibili ako hehehe eto pala yung screen shot nung comic book...24fcbd[1].jpg

Guest dobby_gobby_man Posted April 4, 2004 Report Posted April 4, 2004 Leslie Hope - Teri Bauer (Season 1) Birthday: May 6, 1965 Birth Place: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Biography: Best known for her acclaimed role as Teri Bauer on the first season of the hit drama "24," Leslie Hope, a native of Nova Scotia, got into the acting profession on a lark. Because her father was in the military, the family moved frequently. When she was 15, the family moved to Italy, and Hope enrolled at a boarding school to finish her pre-college training. Instead of pursuing her original plan to become a lawyer, she decided to rebel, announcing her intention to become an actor. Shortly after, her school was used as a film location and she was hired for a small role. She met a crew member who knew the famed director John Cassavetes. After meeting Cassavetes, he later wrote a starring role for her in his film, "Love Streams." After finishing the film, Hope stayed in Los Angeles and worked in various capacities on Cassavetes' crew, learning all she could about filmmaking. She next starred opposite Matt Dillon in "Kansas," in David Beaird's "It Takes Two" and in Oliver Stone's "Talk Radio." She also starred with Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen in "Men at Work." While in Los Angeles, she and a partner started their own theatre company, called The Wilton Project, which Hope ran for 10 years. Her vision was to develop new plays and playwrights, and to gain the theatre experience she felt she had missed. In addition to running the company, she acted in, produced and directed several productions, including the award-winning "Thérèse Raquin," "Slide" and "Ghost Stories." Additional credits include "Emerald City," Taking Off" and "The Rattle of the Moon." Hope recently starred in the independent feature "The Incredible Mrs. Ritchie." The film reunited her and Gena Rowlands, with whom she starred in "Love Streams." Hope played a woman who has become despondent about her life and abusive marriage. She was also recently seen in the Lifetime telefilm "An Unexpected Love," playing a married wife and mother who falls in love with another woman. Her TV credits include the telefilms "Stolen Miracle," "Robocop," "Sanctuary" and "First Degree." She has also had recurring roles on "The District" and "Chicago Hope," and has appeared on "Judging Amy," "Party of Five" and "The Outer Limits." Hope's extensive film credits include "Dragonfly," "Bruiser," "Sweet Killing," "Water Damage," "Spreading Ground," "Paris France," "Fun," True Confections" and "The Life Before This." She plans to direct the feature "Swimming Lessons," with Mark Harmon and Wendy Crewson, a dark comedy based on Laurie Latham's critically acclaimed "Slide" -- a play written for Hope, who starred in the original on stage. In her spare time, Hope travels to exotic locales such as Peru, Cuba and Turkey. She recently returned from trips to Iceland, China -- where she ate yak -- and the Ecuadorian jungle, where she lived with a native tribe in the rainforest. Grandson of former Saskatchewan premier Tommy Douglas, leader of the first elected socialist government in North America. Daughter is named Sarah Jude Sutherland.
