Installation help

i have an original SPV and when i try to install a program through ACTIVSYNC (add/remove programs) it will start to install then flash back to the home screen..it is driving me nuts!

I have tried deleting the data in IPSM Windows AppMgr Install and it still aint working! any help!

By the way i am busy trying to install Pocket streets 2002 :cry:

maybe Pocket street 2002 is corrupt have you tried to download pocket street 2002 again and install :idea:

I dont think it is the Pocket streets file because i have downloaded other demos off the HANDANGO web site and they are not working either...

I can understand it , i have installed programs in this method before and they have worked. :roll:

Sounds more likely you do not have enough free memory on your phone, either Physical or IPSM (storage on e200)

I have freed up all possible space and to no avail... :cry:

have tried software reset your phone??

have you tried reinstall activsync??

or maybe some defect app are making this problem

maybe you can try to unistall last installed app's and try again

Can you post how much memory you have available?

The only real reason an installation will bomb out is lack of memory.

Also I'd suggest you check that Settings, Homescreen, Time Out is set to Never

Tried re-installing ACTIVESYNC no help...

Tried Settings for HOME SCREEN no help...

Here are the memory setttings...available storage : 5.87MB

Total storage:7.50MB

Available memory :6.14MB

total memory : 12.63

now there seems to be enough memory , so why wont it install!
