Guest RobPowell Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 Hi guys I have an mpx200 and it's frustrating when it's docked to have to keep undocking to send texts, and especially to add/edit new contacts. Is there any software that does the equivolent of VNC so I can do it all from the desktop? Thanks guys :D
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 Check out SmartPhone Studio - it's freeware and it's excellent to send texts while your phone is docked! As for contacts .. I just add/edit them in Outlook - and then sync my phone with Outlook afterwards ... doesn't really get any easier than that =)
Guest RobPowell Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 cool will defo check out that text tip off!! Well cool!! As for the syncing? I am having major problems syncing with the PC with the phone :D As my USB isn't working 100% it won't tell me what's wrong LOL It used to work with the mpx200 that I had with voda, it was only when I got the orange branded one that it stopped working ;)
Guest RobPowell Posted April 5, 2004 Report Posted April 5, 2004 no more studio cause the freeware ran out april 1st (not a joke :D) and can't find it elsewhere
Guest MECX Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 yeh smartphone studio is dead now---i think a pay version will be coming out soon, there is another one for sending text messages---dr roodyns SMSutilies---no disrespect to the developer but its no where near as good as smartphone studio--although it is freeware and shows potential.
