Guest albe305 Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 I tried to load pocket streets for pocket pc on my i600. Needless to say it did not work. However now I can't load any other apps. It keeps trying to load pocket streets which crashes and the the new app never loads. Anyone have any suggestions on how to clear this error? Thanks, Dennis.

Guest albe305 Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 What I meant to say is I do not have any folders or files in my AppMrg folder. The Install folder is not present. Thanks, Dennis

Guest albe305 Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 Interesting, when I try to create an "Install" folder I get an error message that says the "Install folder already exists. Any suggestions on how to get the folder to display? I do have the "show hidden files" option selected. Thanks, Dennis.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 The folder is either hidden and if so you will need to change your windows sttings to view hidden files. Otherwise the problem may be that you are using an older version of Activsync ie 3.6, there was a bug on certain phone updates and different versiions of Activsync where the folders in question (the contents of the appmgr folder cannot be viewed.
Guest albe305 Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Thanks for your help, could not resolve the viewing of hidden folders. Had to do a phone rest to clear the problem. I am now back up and running. Thanks again. Dennis
