DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME, and DON'T BLAME ME IF YOU BREAK YOUR PHONE!!!

well, I just kinda tore into mine, [i accidentally dunked my E100 into a spa] but the first thing I did was take off the battery, remove the sim and SD cards, then [after blowing it out with canned air, then immediately PRAYING] I inserted a VERY dull flatheaded screwdriver into the SD slot and pried AWAY from the middle seam, I did so VERY carefull as should you, I IMMEDIATELY stopped after the first "pop" and began to run the screwdriver along the edge up around the TOP first then the other side, careful to not let the buttons fall out on the side, I then VERY carefully pried the bottom away.

After this you'll need a VERY tiny phillip's head screwdriver, like a jewelers driver, to remove the sandwiched boards from the case, there is only ONE screw anchoring the sandwich boards to the case, remove it and KEEP IT... the rest of the guts should "pop" out of the rest of the case... make sure to remove the screen cover before painting, and ALSO, the silvery piece holding the screen cover, paint it separately, or it'll look like shite, I assume.
