Was a little bit worried to see that on Sunday afternoon I managed to dial 999 for 58 seconds...

Anybody know when I should expect the boys round?

(A friend of mine who works in the emergancy services says it happens all the time, but I don't like it.)

Any way of stopping 999 when the phone is locked [or 112 or 911 I suppose] being activated?

If I remember correctly, because of the number of calls accidentally made from mobiles, you now have to push another number to confirm that you want to be connected.

I doubt the boys in blue will be round, it's happened to me a couple of times.
