Guest ltgland Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 My phone has developed joystick problems. I made the calls and had Hayes TC send me a bag contact details to send my phone for repairs. Their courier company (ANC Express) doesnt want to call me back or respond to my emails. Since its not my job to chase the worold and his dog, I now only wish to deal with Orange (the phone is an Orange product), but they refuse to correspond by email (that way its all in wirting). When I get home, I will threaten them with Trading Standards. No doubt they wont respond positively and I will have to set Trading Standards on them (faulty goods, less than 6 months)
Guest chucky.egg Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 Yeah, good luck Don't send the phone to HTC, there's no need to involve anyone else. You bought the phone from Orange. Orange should replace it.
Guest ltgland Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 I called them today, expecting to get blanked as usual. they are sending out a replacement handset tomorrow, at a convenient time too. Now why didnt they say that when I first called!
