Backing up txt message - PROBLEM! :-)

Problem:

my email/txt msg counter on the home page is wrong [emails dont show up any more and txts counter always set to one [when theres no new messages!]

the only way i can find to fix it is to do a reset [hold the record button in when the power is switched off.]

but this resets/deletes the inbox

how do i back it up 1st?

That's the old Phantom SMS don't need to do a hard reset, click on the word to find out how to fix it.
