Ratio of problem-free E200 updates to problem-ridden ones?

Hi all,

Just about to get an E200 and am worried about the upgrade issues that have been discussed EXTENSIVELY in the monster 30-page thread... :?

My question to you all is:

What is the ratio of fully functional and OK updates against the ones that have gone really bad, i.e. with the SD lockup problems, loss of bass, crashes, etc.? With these problems I mean having them where they never existed before ('cos I know that all the SPVs suffer from glitches such as these occasionally).

The 30-page marathon topic is extensive, but not conclusive I don't think (IMHO) as quite a few people seem to be having no problems at all.

So please vote! :D And feel free to add comments about your votes.

I've voted "No".

The volume is a little low for my taste post update though.

i think you'll find the conclusive evidence is there is no conclusive evidence! the update seems to be completely random in its effects. only way to find out is update. i had buzzing e200s, & personally i'd rather have the update problems & no buzz in the speaker. but my advice would be if you dont currently have any problems then dont do the update.
