Guest Rob.P Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 Here is a suggeestion for Microsoft or some budding programmer out there who can afford to get Cert'd. You sitting there at your desktop, you have your phone in it's cradle, your snyc'd, you open outlook and select a contact and there is an additional option on the contact to phone them you click it, outlook grabs the phone, dials the number and switches the phone over to speakerphone. May even pop up a little toolbar on your desktop of who you are phoning, call duration and an endcall button or similiar stuff. I personally would love this sort of app, would use it a hell of a lot, mainly cause I'm the ultimate in laziness :D

Guest Paul [MVP] Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 I would definitely love to code this. Problem is, without the USB modem driver working, I wouldn't know where to start! I may have a play tho... :D P
Guest Zorglub Posted December 21, 2002 Report Posted December 21, 2002 I think this would be very easy to do (dialing number on the SPV) - as in extremely easy to do. Hardest part for me would be to figure out how to write a plugin to Outlook.
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted December 21, 2002 Report Posted December 21, 2002 For me writing a plugin for outlook would be the easiest thing, talking to SPV the hardest... Hmm.... P
Guest Zorglub Posted December 21, 2002 Report Posted December 21, 2002 I could write the dialing thing in a couple of hours... maybe we should cooperate. Oh wait, there's that stupid certification thing, never mind.
Guest jcinfo Posted December 21, 2002 Report Posted December 21, 2002 My opinion ,dont bye any programmes qhith certification , Never use the certification , if any developer whant use this orange whit be remove certification. AMBARGO !! it's the solution !!
