Guest scott2eyes Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 Lost your MPx200 manual? Want to know how to do something, but can't be bothered looking something up? Maybe you want to pretend to be working while actually reading about how to create a Media Player skin on the internet... If so, then the answer to your prayers may have arrived! I've been putting together a guide to the MPx200 (obviously, much of it is applicable to any SmartPhone), which is finally in a fit state for public consumption. The only part I have yet to add is a guide to Homescreen XML (which is ironically the part that started it all off!)- once that's finished I'll be posting it in the main section of the forum, but in the meantime, any feedback, comments, criticism, ideas, advice etc. would be more than welcome. Thanks have to go out to the members here- pretty much everything I have learnt about the Smartphone has come from these forums, so thanks! :D ***Click here for the Guide*** [Edit- changed title]
Guest Vector Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 good work :D sure MPx200 owners will appreciate it ;)
Guest scott2eyes Posted April 17, 2004 Report Posted April 17, 2004 The Homescreen XML section is now up. I'm going to give it a bit more of a polish before i make it 'public', so to speak (Pocket IE doesn't seem to recognise character codes, so it isn't really smartphone friendly yet- although i doubt many people would be reading that section on a smartphone...)
Guest scott2eyes Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 Whoa- wasn't expecting to see this moved here... Oh well- here it is, I guess- hope it helps!
Guest AttentioN Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 execellent! im looking through the homescreen customization. :D
Guest scott2eyes Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 Hope you find it useful! Let me know if you have any questions, or if there's anything that could be made clearer/doesn't make sense etc.
Guest wolfbrother6 Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 Very nice guide, good job with the registry keys. Would add more info concerning the wav requirements (bitrate, &c) looks really good otherwise. Wolfbro
