I have a Motorola MPX200

1) I've just bought a 128mb storage card and I'm putting in it some games/stuff...but now I've got the memory of the telephone full , why???

When I tried to install some .exe files putting them in the storage card (trying to do it), the telephone said that I've not enough space...and from that moment my telephone memory begin to be full...W H Y ? ? ?

Are there some files that I can delete to create some space (for example some temp files that could be there)

2) I put in the orneta notepad (it's freeware, right?); but it doesn't work: I can open the program but I cannot see the letters I'm writing, the screen is all white...I've notice that in the registration space that I can insert the registration code...my problem is because the program isn't freeware???

3) so I tried to remove that program (orneta notepad) but it says I can't remove it : now can I just delete the orneta notepad file in the storage card using the explorer???

try removing the sdcard and reinserting it

yeah sounds like you have put a few files on the phone instead of the sd card. that will by why the notepad wont open and you have low memory. If removing the sd card does not fix the problem (dont know why it would) use the explorer to ensure you havent posted anything on the phone by mistake. you may have to hard reset. This wipes your phone so do a back up first.

Problem 1

Ok now I have made some space in the telephone deleting a directory 'IPSMWINDOWSAPPMGRInstall' in which there was a file I was trying to install (Motocross), so now I cleared some space. Maybe happened that when I was trying to install it, something went wrong (because there weren't space enough) and the system told me that was impossible to proceed, but didn't delete the installing-files (that then I delete).

Problem 2

The orneta notepad still doesn't work, with the same problem: I open the program but the sheet is always all blank also when I write; I write some letters (because the counter says so) but the words don't appear. I tried to remove it but in 'Settings' directory but I can't, because there wasn't the option. Can I try to delete it from the storage card, removing the directory?

Other questions:

3) do you know of another notepad I can try?

4) is there the sound in Doom game? In mine there isn't...

there is a version of doom without sound - think there was a version released with sound but i didnt play it.

As for orneta it still sounds like you are having problems with memory. try installing the taskmanager from http://www.monolithix.org to check your memory status.

I would be doing a hard reset if i was in your position

P L E A S E H E L P M E : how can I make a back up before the hard reset?

a hard reset would clear your phone of any software which is partially installed (failed installations etc) it is difficult to remove these files any other way.

Sync with the pc to back up your contacts calender and inbox.

This will not backup your text messages. (there are applications available for this)

You should also copy the my documents/my photos to the pc, etc...

Then click on the words hard reset to find out how to clear the phone.

But what happen if I delete the orneta notepad directory in the storage card and the shortcut in the start menu?

Will I have problems? (I don't like to do a hard-reset, because I have to reinstall a lot of stuff)

Can you tell me please the app that send the sms in the desktop computer? Where can I found it?

you can delete the shortcut and directory. however this wont solve your memory problems

Now I will try to install PocketNotepad (for Smartphone) instead of orneta notepad. Will it work? And how is it?
