Automatically reconnecting bluetooth...

Hi all, not sure if this has been covered before and resolved, if it has someone post me a link, i can't find it.

Just wondering if there is a way of setting up bluetooth to automatically reconnect to my laptop when I'm near it !! As at the moment if I want to reconnect to it, I have to go into the phone and sync it.

I did notice some options under activeSync (on the smartphone), it was titled "PC Settings" -> "advanced" The option is for "enable pc sync using connection type", it then lists : USB, Serial or Bluetooth... Now of course I have been playing around with this for a while and can't get it to work, anyone else had any luck ? As I keep getting a error saying that it can't connect !!

Any ideas ?

your best bet it to assign 'sync thro bluetooth' to say the record button. Auto-detect would be better, im sure its possible but that would mean the phone will need to search for the laptop constantly - killing your battery. better idea to have the pc search for the phone, shocked activesync dont support it

yeah, is there an app for the PC to automatically run activesync if it detects the phone then? would be a damn cool app!

I second that. its really annoying having to manually reconnect everything all the time jus because i've moved one centimeter out of range. Maybe Dumdidum could add this function to his Media Remote app?

How would i do this ? Would prefer to have it as a option in the quicklist !
