Help/Input on HS810 (Motorola Bluetooth Headset)

OK, I have read a few posts on here where people say this headset is working for them. My experience so far with it is that it's not working well (even if I were to keep the boom open), so I'd like to try and identify any differences between my phone and others who are using this headset with no problems.

For anyone who is using this headset and it seems to work:

1. What phone/ROM are you using (ie Orange PRE update, Orange AFTER update, Qtek 8080, XPhone, Imate 2)? I am personally using the Imate 2.

2. Do you have the phone bluetooth consistently on 'ON' or 'Discoverable'?

3. Is this headset the ONLY bluetooth device bonded to your phone?

4. Did you at one time have any other devices bonded that you deleted? I had some other devices bonded (other headsets and another phone) but I deleted them.

5. Does the headset consistently work ok when dialing calls? What I mean here is that you call a number on your phone and your headset automatically turns on with no problems.

6. Does the headset consistently work ok when receiving calls? What I mean here is that when your phone rings you can just hit the button on the headset and your headset works no problems.

7. Is there anything unique you are doing (or did) with the headset to get it to work well?

8. Are there any unique settings in the phone that may be making it work well for you?

9. Do you have the ring on, vibrate on, or ring and vibrate on when the headset seems to work well?

10. Any other ideas?

This is my 3rd BT headset now and I can't find one that works well! My first was a Jabra BT200, the range wasn't good and it crackled a TON. My second was the Plantronics M3000 which seemed to function good(answering/making calls most of the time) but the physical build quality wasn't that great and the VERY small plastic circle holding the ear piece broke after 3 days use. :D I REALLY HOPE that IMate comes out with a new ROM that fixes these bluetooth problems or someone can help point me in the right direction to get this or another good headset to work...
