Rookie needs simple help

why is it that whenever i try to download anything from the postings in the forum it opens it up as a windows media file, and obviously cant. i am a computer novice but i am not a retard so i think i should be help-able!

If anyone is able to help and get me started on my e200 adventure i would be well chuffed. the first spv adventure wasn't as fun!

When you click on the link choose "Save as" and then choose somewhere to save it to.

And check your windows file associations too :D

To do that right click on the file, select "open with", choose a program and select "Always use the program to open this file type" or something like that ;)
