Guest Disco Stu Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 You should follow the manual instructions for the fists charge. Definately. After that, with all Smartphones you've got to get into the habit of leaving it on charge whenever its not in your pocket on the pub table etc. You need an extra charge cable for work college. Think about a battery pack too. Certainly don't let it get below 20% Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Try not to charge the phone for say half hour intervals etc but also try to give it a good condition charge of 12 hrs + once in a while. Li-ion batteries do not have as much of a pronounced memory loss as the Ni-cd counterparts but it is still possible. Also more importantly do not let the battery run out as this can damage the circuitry ot the battery.
Guest phonesmarts Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 well, i charge it like Disco Stu...whenever it aint in my pocket, its being charged. seems to do well for me so far.
Guest Dr_StrangeTrick Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 I have done the cradle mod to supply power from the USB port and when at work my phone is on charge nearly all day and I have been doing this for nearly 3 months. Now I can take the phone out of the phone out of the cradle Friday 5:00pm and it is still running with quite a bit of juice spare Monday 9:00am when it goes back in the cradle :D
