Guest Machinly Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Is there a program out or is anyone planning to make a program which lets u send messages to other bluetooth phones just like you can on nokias???
Guest blewer Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 Smart explorer can send files. So you could always create a contact with the message you want. It's not ideal, but it works :D
Guest Machinly Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 on nokias u can send messages over bluetooth just like u are texting the person. Why do orange insist on giving us sub standard software all the time!!!
Guest londonlad Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 you dont need to use smart explorer to send contacts. create your message as a contact, menu, beam, it searches bluetooth, found, send it. But its not much of a solution to blutooth chat though. the other thing is if you use smart explorer, ive never managed to be able to send a ringtone to a t610 successfully. just my mates t610 ends up locking up, cos its still recieving after 5 mins. is the latest smart explorer b5 set to expire? might need to upgrade to it
Guest Pulse Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 Which nokia phone does 'bluetooth chat' then?
Guest lister7474 Posted April 15, 2004 Report Posted April 15, 2004 If you have pocketnotepad on ur spv u can make a .txt file then send it over bluetooth... nokias send messages as .txt files so its basically the same thing... I havent actually tried it though... my mate sent me a "text message" over bluetooth and my e200 just got it as a .txt file, not a text message obviously, but i got a feeling symbian might recognize it as an a ctual text message... try it...
