Guest squall Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 Thanks to midnight for pointing me towards this: JPT is a web-based Jabber client written in PHP using class.jabber.php. It enables users of wireless terminals (such as WAP- or iMode-enabled phones, UMTS terminals, PDAs, webpads) to access their Jabber accounts through them. How does this work? JPT builds a special type of web-site that enables user of an wireless terimnal, to logon to his Jabber account, fetch messages that were left there, and send any messages to other Jabber users. We designed JPT to be as extensible as possible - it is very easy to make JPT "talk" to us in our native language, and it is easy to write so called "frontends", wich create UI that is sent to user - depending on what kind of a browser user uses.
